This park is without a doubt one of the best places to enjoy the city. Just a short walk from our Hotel along Pedro de Valdivia Norte street, alongside the Mapocho River, it has an impressive view towards San Cristobal Hill and on the other side, the Skyline of the flanks of the river, with the majestic Andes as a backdrop.
It has been given the title of “Open-air Museum” by the International Council of Museums, and has sculptures from renowned artists like Marta Colvin, Sergio Castillo and Federico Assler.
It is visited by more than 100,000 people a year and every summer, since 2002, it has held the International Jazz Festival of Providencia on its lawns, where standout national artists and international stars like Jean-Luc Ponty, Al Di Meola and Mike Stern have graced its stages.
It is the perfect place for a picnic, just a walk or to ride your bike.
